Context

The project was created as part of the "Zwolnieni z Teorii” (Exempt from Theory) social impact project Olympiad. The project included a platform to support high school students in choosing a university and an event featuring Kasia and Jacek from "Kwiat Jabłoni," Radoslaw Gajda from "Architecture is a Good Idea," electric bike startup founder and founders of the Network of Entrepreneurial Women - the largest organization of entrepreneurial women in the region.

Scope

1. Project scoping and definition of assumptions

My Role

I was responsible for assembling the project team, coordinating the project at every stage - from the process of defining critical assumptions, user pains to the creation of the final product. I involved students from several Warsaw high schools including Wladyslaw IV, Kochanowski and Żmichowska high schools.

Outcome

Challenges

• During the development of the software, several programmers had to somehow cooperate with each other, which prolonged the work. The worst part, however, is that we ended up using a no-code solution and their work was done pointlessly
• The room for the event was arranged without written confirmation which proved stressful when 3 days before the event we found out that we could not use the planned venue

Lessons Learned

1. Do not agree without any evidence
